Work History
As a young Entrepreneur I transformed a uniform store to what is now the Scout Shop.
Was head hunted by Fitzwilton Ltd and worked under the direction of the late Dr. Tony O Reilly and was later transferred to the Dockrell Builders Providers Group to head up the newly Formed Building Division,after which I held many posts like Group Troubleshooter and Marketing Director before leaving to open my own enterprises.
So in 1979 out on my own account and over the following years owned a Joinery Works, Import and Export Trading Company, Licensed and Bonded Travel Company and a Consultancy Practice handling Trade and Marketing issues.
These were all sold on pryer to my early retirement.
Opperated as a Political adviser for 8 years ( Dublin, London and Breussels).
One other thing worth mentioneing is When the Luas was coming through the Portobello and Harcourt Street area of Dublin. I headed up a consortium of Local Business’s and was chosen as their CEO to monItor the works so as to lessen the effects on their day to day operations it was called the ”Village Quarter” and even had its own Newspaper.
